On a lonely summer's eve, two millennials found each other among a hive of bees.
After talking for a few weeks, Katy and Christian decided to meet. They met at the standard for dinner, Christian was late (standard). After a nice evening of dinner, ice cream, and a walk through downtown Fort Myers, Katy and Christian decided to spend more time together.
Upon meeting Katy's dog, Hank, Christian was initially apprehensive due to Hank's breed and classic stereotypes. Katy questioned a future with Christian after his first encounter with Hank, but Christian reassured her that he would grow to love Hank over time...
Little did they know that Hank would be one of the main catalysts of their love story. What started with a one-week trip to visit Christian in Tallahassee turned into Katy moving full-time to the Big Bend area and helping Christian navigate the final year of law school. Several weeks went by and they knew something...someone...was missing.
Enter Hank, the best dog, who joined his humans for the remainder of the law school year and helped solidify the family unit. Katy and Christian bonded over binge-watching numerous shows (ranging from Only Murders in the Building to Love is Blind), spending time with Hank, walking around FSU's beautiful campus, exploring Tallahassee, visiting family and friends in Louisiana and Wisconsin, and much more.
Through these times, Katy and Christian have grown individually and together, and they are grateful for the path they are now on.
While their story is in its early stages, they are excited to take things to the next level and tie the knot. They look forward to seeing everyone at the wedding and welcoming guests from around the country to sunny Southwest Florida for a weekend of celebration and jubilation.
